Nathalie Emmanuel, a British actor best known for her performance as Missandei (HBO's fantasy show Game of Thrones) from the year 2011 until 2019 she was the first British actress. Born and raised in Southend-on-the-Sea, a seaside resort town located in Essex, Emmanuel was drawn to the stage from a young age. She noticed her mother's interest and her parents began enrolling her in singing, dancing as well as acting classes when she was just three years old. Emmanuel was quickly developing as a actor, and by the time she reached her late teens, she was playing the role of young Nala for The West End stage productions of the highly acclaimed production of the musical "The the Lion King." By the time she became an teen, Emmanuel began auditioning for the roles in TV and films. This role plays the role of the interpreter for Daenerys' Targaryen hero (portrayed by Emilia Clarke). Emmanuel was a part of every season of "Game of Thrones" from the very beginning until the May 2019 season finale.
